Hey SHE-BREWS!
Welcome to the month of June!
Wow! I can’t wait to start our very first SHE-BREWS Workshop in July, for young women ages 13-18…There is so much I want to share, and my heart’s desire is to leave a legacy to young women regarding leadership.
But in the meantime I want to share Words of Encouragement for Women in Leadership to women in general.
To every woman leading in the 21st century—whether in boardrooms, classrooms, community spaces, or homes—know this: your voice matters, your vision is valid, and your presence is powerful. You are standing on the shoulders of those who paved the way and building bridges for those who will come after you. In a world that often challenges your worth, your resilience is your testimony. Keep rising, keep leading, and keep believing that your leadership is not only needed—it is transformative.
You are not too much. You are enough. And you are exactly what this moment in history calls for.
Ways Women Can Support One Another in Leadership
Affirm Publicly, Support Privately
Celebrate each other’s wins out loud. Speak one another’s names in rooms full of opportunity and defend each other in rooms filled with opposition.
Mentor and Be Mentored
Share your lessons. Offer your wisdom. Make space for younger women leaders to rise—and stay teachable by learning from others as well.
Collaborate, Not Compete
Leadership is not a race; it’s a relay. Pass the baton, share the tools, and build legacy together.
Create Safe Circles
Build spaces where women can be vulnerable, strategic, and authentic. Sometimes the best leadership moves are born in sacred sisterhood.
Be the Mirror and the Light
Reflect truth and brilliance back to your sisters when they can’t see it in themselves, and shine a light so they can find their own path forward.
